2025춘하 패션 경향을 한발 앞서 볼 수 있는 ‘2025 S/S 서울패션위크’가 지난 9월 3일부터 7일까지 5일간 동대문디자인플라자(DDP)와 DDP와 성수, 청담, 한남동 일대에서 성황리에 끝내고 폐막했다.
5일간 DDP 아트홀 1관(14회), 2관(7회)에서 런웨이에 오른 2025 S/S 서울패션위크 주요 브랜드들의 컬렉션을 소개한다.
얼킨(ULKIN)

브랜드 컨셉
얼킨은 고유의 감성과 미학을 토대로 가장 날카로운 지속가능성을 선보이는 브랜드이다.
예술과 업사이클링, 해체주의와 재구성, 하이브리드한 감성을 기반으로, 매 시즌 다양한 사회적 이슈를 주제로 예술 기법과 표현방식에서 영감을 받은 독특하고 실험적인 실루엣과 디테일을 선보이며, 이를 일상에 자연스럽게 녹아들 수 있도록 새로운 스타일을 제시한다.
UL:KIN is a brand that inspires the sharpest sustainability with it’s own aesthetics and sensibility.
Based on art, upcycling, deconstruction & reconstruction, and hybrid, ulkin delivers messages of each season which metaphorically expressed via fashion defiantly and innovatively.
This design process creates social value as well as aesthetic value. It is a designer LSD collection that sublimates awareness of sustainability into creation.
2025S/S 컨셉:TO THE SHORE
AUTHENTIC
생성형 AI 기술이 무서운 속도로 발전하고 있다. 사진도, 영상도, 글도 너무나도 쉽게 인공지능에 의해 창조라 할 수 없는 창조 되고 있으며 가짜 뉴스와 딥페이크 등이 난무하는 등 이제는 더욱 진실을 찾기 어려운 시대가 되어 가고 있다.
기술의 발전은 과연 찬란한 미래를 가져다 줄 것인지, 혹은 디스토피아적인 결말일지 우리는 감히 예측할 수 없다.
아이러니하게도 허구와 허상이 많아질수록 우리는 진실과 진상(眞像)에 목마르게 되는데, 이러한 현상을 과거의 소재들과의 결합을 통해 표현해보고자 하였다. 크래프트적인 공법과 향수가 묻어있는 디즈니 캐릭터들을 얼킨만의 방식으로 재해석하여 표현한다.
올해로 어느덧 론칭 10년차에 이르는 브랜드 얼킨은 그 본질과 진정성에 대하여 다시 한번 되짚어보고 예술과 업사이클링, 그리고 지속가능한 패션에 대한 고찰을 지속하고자 하며, 진실로 착각을 일으키는 허구의 세계에서 패션은 어떤 의미를 가져야할 지, 어떻게 나아가야 할지 다시 한번 생각해 본다.
AUTHENTIC
Generative ?AI technology is developing at an alarming rate. Photos, videos, writings, and voices are so easily created by artificial intelligence, and fake news and deepfakes are rampant.
We don't dare to predict whether technology will bring about a brilliant future or whether they will?have a dystopian ending.
Ironically, as there is more false information and illusions, we become thirsty for truth, and we try to express this phenomenon through combination with past materials.
Through collaboration with Disney, nostalgic characters are reinterpreted and expressed in ULKIN's way with crafty?details.
Celebrating the 10th anniversary of ULKIN, we would look back on its essence and authenticity and continue to consider art, upcycling, and sustainable?fashion, and reconsider what fashion should mean and how to proceed in a fictional world.
