K-패션을 대표하는 국내 디자이너들이 올 가을·겨울(F/W) 패션 트렌드를 선보인 ‘2023 춘계 서울패션위크’가 지난 3월 15일부터 19일까지 동대문디자인플라자(DDP)에서 성황리에 개최됐다.
서울시가 주최하는 이번 서울패션위크에서는 23개 국내 최정상 디자이너 브랜드와 7개 신진 디자이너 브랜드, 1개 기업쇼 등 총 31회의 패션쇼 무대에 올라 2023F/W 패션 트렌드를 발신한 주요 브랜드 런웨이 컬렉션을 소개한다.

브랜드 컨셉:
하나차에서 선보이는 직선적이고 단순한 형태의 실루엣은 ‘미니멀리즘, 단순화 과정’을 근본으로 한다. 또한 섬유를 함께 전공해 직접 그린 ‘아트워크로 텍스타일을 개발’하거나 브랜드의 시그니처가 되는 ‘메탈 프린지 장식’을 개발했다. 이러한 소재 개발은 심플하고 정교한 실루엣과 어우러져 ‘실용적이지만 디자이너의 감성과 철학이 담긴 의상’으로 표현된다.
- 더불어 하나차는 디자이너의 철학이 담긴 여러 작업들을 함께 보여주는 STUDIO로 브랜드 개념을 발전시켜 ‘HANACHA STUDIO’로 활동 영역을 넓혀나가고 있다. ‘STUDIO’ 활동의 일환인 패션 이론과 패션 아트 및 인스톨레이션 작업 등을 서울 및 베이징, 도쿄, 런던, 파리 등 국제적 무대에서 함께 선보이고 있다. 이러한 스튜디오 활동은 브랜드 연구 활동의 일환으로 컬렉션의 새로운 영감이 된다.
- 이는 매 시즌 소비되는 상업적 개념의 의상을 넘어, ‘깊은 연구와 예술적 접근 방식으로 탄생되는 의상’을 보여주고자 하는 디자이너의 철학을 수반한다. 이러한 철학을 통해 사회 전반적으로 중요한 이슈인 ‘오래 지속 가능하며(Sustainablity)’, ‘유행을 타지 않는(Timeless)’ 패션 스타일을 보여줄 뿐만 아니라 Hanacha studio만의 차별화된 브랜드 아이덴티티를 확실하게 보여준다.

- Obsessed by the essentiality in a sculpt, a painting, each of Hanacha Studio’s collections is inspired by artists and design movements and named appropriately after. The aesthetic of merging art and fashion together stems from Cha’s obsession with complexity and simplicity, concepts she’s studied through sculptures, painting and nature.
- To be specific, the symbol of minimal silhouette and fabric manipulation of Hanacha studio represents simplicity and complexity respectively. Twisting both the malleable fabric manipulation with Metal-fringe and the clean-minimal silhouette shows her identity in abstract and figurative forms.
- With high regards to a craftsmanship in a fabric manipulation, Cha's collections exhibit a sculptural distinction, which can be shown in clearly flowing down dress with a straight line and it infiltrates into her art pieces. Accordingly, it has been become the signature of Hanacha studio and the new way to approach for continuing and creating 'sustainable', 'Timeless' clothing.

2023FW 시즌 컨셉:
지난 시즌 도큐멘타_1 시리즈에 이어 이번 Autumn Winter 2023 HANACHA STUDIO 컬렉션의 제목은 도큐멘타_2: 형태의 재구성(Documenta_2: The reconstruction of forms)으로 기하학 공간 형태를 통한 형의 법칙 이론을 정립한 오스카 슐렘머의 이론적 근거를 배경으로 한다.
대상의 조형적 요소를 단순화하는 과정에서 발견할 수 있는 기하학적 형들- 사각, 원형, 난형, 별형 등- 을 ‘재조합(recombination)’ 혹은 ‘전위(transposition)’시키며, 이 과정에서 부여되는 ‘공간적 조각’과 ‘선의 구적’을 컬렉션으로 표현한다.
또한 슐렘머의 기초 도형으로 표현된 기본적인 실루엣(Unmodulated silhouette)과 과장된 형체(Voluptuous figure)를 재해석해 기초적 형태의 단순한 실루엣과, 이와 대비되는 인체의 과장된 움직임과 형태를 스포츠적 요소로 재해석 했다.

Autumn winter 2023 HANACHA STUDIO
The title of Autumn Winter 2023 HANACHA STUDIO is Documenta_2: The reconstruction of forms. It is based on the theoretical background of Oskar Schlemmer (1888-1943) who was a German painter, sculptor, designer associated with the Bauhaus.
He manifested the theory of a spatial description from the human body which was named a geometrical spatial sculpture. Based on Schelemmer's idea of human figure and spatial formativeness, this season encompasses “recombination” and ?transposition” which demonstrates the theory of formation playing with layered or reconstructed geometry forms such as rectangle, quadrangle, steamline, circle and star.
Also, the collection has been reinterpreted from unmodulated silhouette to voluptuous figure, so there is some exaggeration of the shape of garment embracing sports mood to express stereometric movement of the human body."
